Our guide to stamping out junk mail has been updated, extended and improved. It now includes detailed information about the eight most effective ways of stopping junk mail and handy online tools such as online opt-out forms.
Did you know that you can stop 150+ pieces of unaddressed junk mail per year by opting out of Royal Mail's so-called door-to-door service? Changes are you didn't, as Royal Mail does not advertise the opt-out and has made opting out as customer-unfriendly as it can get.
That's why we've decided to make opting out a little easier. On this page you can now ask Royal Mail to send you a door-to-door opt-out form. You can use the same form to register with Your Choice, a new but far less effective opt-out scheme for unaddressed mail.
Please do note that opting out will not stop all unaddressed items. Royal Mail delivers 'only' one in four unaddressed leaflets. To stop other unaddressed junk mail, please consider buying one of our letterbox stickers.

Tom Burtonwood and Holly Holmes use junk mail to create art with a strong anti-war message.
